Provincial Golf day at Hollins Hall Country Club

Eighteen Brothers met for a round of golf and a meal at Hollins Hall on 1st December 2005. This included two brothers who had travelled from Grimsby. The format was a stableford competition with full handicap.

Everyone enjoyed a bacon sandwich and a cup of coffee before play commenced and thankfully the rain held off until everyone had finished. All were delighted with the course, especially the fact that play was from the grass tees and onto the normal greens. Comment was made as to the high standard of the course, especially considering the time of the year and recent weather.

The annual general meeting of the Provincial Golf Society was held prior to the evening meal and prize presentation.
